Dane Bailey Co-Founder | Barley Landscape Company

Dane has over a decade of hands-on experience in the landscaping and horticulture industry. He is passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces that thrive. As a U.S. Navy Veteran, he brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication to every project.

Dane is a Certified Professional Horticulturist through the Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association (WSNLA). He is also a Certified Landscape Professional and Certified Lawn Care Professional through the University of Tennessee. Additionally, he earned an associate’s degree in Horticulture from Edmonds Community College in Lynnwood, Washington.

His journey began with co-owning The Plant Nerds in Everett, Washington. There, he honed his skills in ornamental and fruit tree pruning. He also learned sustainable planting techniques and landscape maintenance. Now, as a founder of Barley Landscape Company, he is dedicated to helping homeowners and businesses achieve landscapes that are both functional and visually stunning.

Outside of work, Dane enjoys spending time with his family, playing pickleball, hiking, and camping. He loves exploring the great outdoors. His passion for beautiful, natural spaces carries over into his landscaping work. This passion influences everything he does.

Cliff Barnett Co-Founder | Barley Landscape Company

Cliff is a U.S. Air Force veteran and co-founder of Barley Landscape Company, bringing a strong foundation in both science and construction to the landscaping industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Memphis, with a focus on plant and animal sciences, as well as an associate degree in construction technology.

With five years of experience as a project lead in home remodeling and design, Cliff has honed his skills in creating functional and visually appealing spaces. His combined expertise in biology and construction allows him to approach landscaping with a deep understanding of plant health, sustainability, and structural integrity.

A dedicated professional and family man, Cliff has been married for 16 years and is the proud father of two. His commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction is at the heart of every project he takes on. Whether providing expert landscape maintenance or handling small-scale installations, he takes pride in keeping outdoor spaces healthy, beautiful, and well-maintained for homeowners and businesses alike.
